For Brain Gauge Home, Brain Gauge Pro, and Brain Gauge MD users, we recommend placing your DOMINANT hand on the device*, with your middle and index fingers resting on the two probe tips. Answer the questions on the screen by pressing down on the corresponding tip with hand on the device.

For Brain Gauge and Brain Gauge Plus (models purchased before April 1, 2018) users, we recommend placing your NON-DOMINANT hand on the device*, with your middle and index fingers resting on the two probe tips. Use your dominant hand to control the computer mouse and respond to the questions on the screen.

If possible, use the same hand during each testing session to ensure consistent results.

*Hand placement is mostly important for Reaction Time tests (for other tests, you can use whichever hand feels more comfortable).
